As weather events threaten safe passage to and from the Range, the Club’s Executive Board may make the decision to close the Range. Watch for the announcement on either of our social media pages–we’ll get the word out as soon as possible.
It was a difficult start to the year, but our Association Membership and the terrific patrons at the Rock pulled it together to put us on solid footing going forward. The Association implemented a number of positive improvements–some of which are plain to see in this new website and our social media, but many were made behind the scenes to make us more efficient and flexible in responding to the needs of our community. We are especially grateful for the generosity and support of our patrons, State Rep. Seth Bronko, the Executive Board, the Rough Riders, and the rank and file Membership who do all the heavy lifting. We look to make 2024 an even better year for shooting sports in the Valley. See you at the Rock!

Sunday, December 3rd, will be the last Congress of the Rough Riders for 2023. Safety briefing is scheduled for 9:30, with competitions to commence right after. Given the variability of the weather, the competition will focus on long-range shooting. It’s a great opportunity to see the long guns of the period–spectators are most welcome!
And a big tip of the hat to the Cowboys for a great season. Looking forward to more fun in 2024!!!

Currently, the HRSA is accepting applications for new members. Please see the Membership page of this website for details and a download of our new application. It’s a great opportunity to meet other folks in the shooting community, to learn more about the sport, and to get in all the shooting you can imagine.
