Leaf Peeping with a Bang!
The Fall colors are just getting into full swing, and we’re pretty proud of the display that’s to be seen at the Naugatuck State Forest. C’mon up to the Rock and have a look, and while you’re there, let off a few rounds … lol. We’ll be glad to see you!

Mission 22 Hike for Veteran Suicide Prevention
Saturday, Sept. 28, the organization Mission 22 will be leading a hike through the Naugatuck State Forest to raise awareness of the tragedy that is veteran suicide. In deepfelt respect, High Rock Range will remain silent through to 1pm as the planned hike passes close by the range. There will be no shooting before 1pm for patrons and members alike. Afterwards, the range will be open as usual until 5pm. We commend the good work of Mission 22 in caring for our veterans. If you would like more information about the hike or about Mission 22’s work, please visit their website at: https://mission22.com/

Quick Clarification
HRSA would just like to clarify part of the sign in procedure at this time: If you are shooting pistols, at least one person in the port must possess a valid Connecticut Pistol Permit. The Association is reviewing this procedure with the State, and when we have further insight into their requirements, we will be sure to post that here.
Black powder pistol shooting is the one exception to this rule. You do not have to have a Pistol Permit to shoot black powder pistols.
Please note, ALL shooters need to present valid, government-issued identification at sign in.
