“The Blue Trail Range in Connecticut is under attack from a legal assault that appears to be intended to close this popular facility.\u00c2\u00a0 An organization that is fighting to keep the range open for public use is asking for assistance and support.\u00c2\u00a0 Save Blue Trail Range, Inc.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mission is to raise funds for the pur\u00c2\u00adpose of paying the necessary legal, consulting, construction, environ\u00c2\u00admental, public relations, and other costs associated with ensuring the con\u00c2\u00adtinued daily operation of the Blue Trail Range.\u00c2\u00a0 Blue Trail Range needs fi\u00c2\u00adnancial assistance to continue to operate and remain open.\u00c2\u00a0 A second law\u00c2\u00adsuit aimed at closing the range or restricting its activities has now been filed.\u00c2\u00a0 One of Blue Trail Range\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s attorney\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, Craig Fishbein, calls this a frivolous lawsuit, but expenses to defend against these suits are already over a quarter million dollars.\u00c2\u00a0 Litigation will drive these costs even higher, possibly as high as one million dollars.\u00c2\u00a0 The range needs the continued support and help of sportsmen who are concerned about keeping this ma\u00c2\u00adjor shooting sports facility in New England open.
